Very nice! Borat’s catchphrase captures the essence of the thumbs up pretty well. Those who give a thumbs up approve of something. Those who receive a thumbs up did something right. Film critic Roger Ebert is famous for his thumb-based evaluation system. Because there’s nothing better than two thumbs up, except two thumbs and a toe up, but that’s not nearly as catchy.
Nowadays, I feel like there’s another very recognizable thumb that we probably see more often than our own.
